We have been asked to sell on behalf of its owner this restored Toyota MR2 MK1 from 1987. The restoration was carried out in Autumn 2019 at great expense by MV Classics in Southampton with all invoices totalling close to £24000.

Mr Spencer has owned the MR2 for over 30 years and in that time has only travelled 20000 miles in it, and only 800 miles in the last 15 years. In that time it was stored in his garage and after restoration the car was trailered up to my storage facility in 2019.

This version is the 1.6 facelifted version with a sunroof rather than the T bar roof. With 128 bhp in a light aerodynamic body this little mid engine sports car could achieve 0-60 mph in 7.7 seconds and go on to reach 120 mph.

The first owner serviced the car every 6 months at Toyota dealers and the car comes with all service books, invoices, folders and a CD detailing the restoration.

MK 1 MR2s are now getting rare and I believe this Toyota is one of the best available on the market for sale at the moment. You are welcome to come and view and inspections are welcome.
